Singapore’s 2025 AP Cash Payout, Key Dates and Payment Methods

The Singapore government is set to continue its Assurance Package (AP) Cash initiative in December 2025, providing financial support to eligible adult Singaporeans. This scheme aims to mitigate the impact of rising costs and offer relief to citizens facing economic challenges. Depending on individual circumstances, the payout will range from $200 to $600.

Eligibility Criteria for AP Cash Payout

To qualify for the AP Cash payout, individuals must meet specific criteria. Applicants must be Singapore citizens residing in the country and at least 21 years old in the reference year. The payout amount depends on an individual’s Assessable Income for the Year of Assessment 2023, which reflects earnings from 2022. Additionally, the number of properties owned influences the disbursement amount, with those owning multiple properties receiving a lower payout.

Disbursement Details and Schedule

The AP Cash payouts are structured to be distributed over five years, from 2022 to 2026. In December 2025, the next installment of the payout will be disbursed according to an individual’s banking arrangements.

For those with PayNow-NRIC linked accounts, payments will commence from 5 December 2025. Recipients are advised to ensure their NRIC is linked to PayNow by 23 November 2025 to receive the funds on time. Individuals without PayNow-NRIC but with registered bank accounts will receive their payments from 16 December 2025, provided their banking details are updated by 27 November 2025. Those without a linked bank account will receive their payments via GovCash, starting from 24 December 2025.

Beyond the AP Cash payouts, the government has introduced supplementary financial support measures. The MediSave Bonus will offer a one-time top-up ranging from $300 to $500 for Singaporeans born between 1974 and 2003. The Majulah Package includes a MediSave Bonus ranging from $1,250 to $2,000 for individuals born in 1973 or earlier. Additionally, the Retirement Savings Bonus provides a CPF top-up of $1,000 or $1,500 to eligible Singaporeans, depending on their CPF retirement savings.

Notification and Scam Awareness

Eligible recipients will be notified of their payouts via SMS from “gov.sg” in December 2025. Those without a registered mobile number on Singpass will receive a letter at their registered address. The government advises citizens to remain vigilant against scams, as official communication will never request personal information, responses, or include clickable links.

The Assurance Package Cash payout is part of Singapore’s ongoing efforts to provide financial stability amid economic uncertainties. Eligible individuals should update their banking information to ensure timely receipt of their payments.
